today i got this email in reply to the craigslist message...
"I know the odds are very slim so I don't want to give you false hope but last night I was at Petco on LaBrea with my kitten. An Asian couple approached me with their kitten which happened to be a white bellied, mostly gray on top female kitten. I don't remember if she had a spot on her nose but she had some abrasions on her face like she got hurt. Very sweet personality. I didn't pay attention to the color of her eyes. I spoke to the couple briefly and they mentioned they just found her so they brought her into Petco for supplies, shots and some medicated swabs for the abrasions. They weren't sure what happened to her. I have no other information for you unfortunately. Maybe workers at Petco have more info. All I know is that they were a young Asian couple, around their twenties and had accents and they were there around 7pm last night. And they named the cat Kimmie. The cat seemed to be around 10months old. I hope this helps. I know how you feel, I lost a kitten a few months ago, it was devastating. Good luck to you and be strong. "
i went to that petco today and posted a flyer. then i found out that they didn't have a shot clinic there last night and that the next one was on sunday from 6-8. i'm going to be there the whole time waiting for this couple to come in with MY CAT!!! i know. i know. don't get my hopes up.
