OK guys, serious question. What do you call someone who is more than a friend, not exactly a boyfriend, a lover, but not restricted to that? What is your favorite pet names for the people you love?
I've always called my secondary partner Beloved. Before he and I were having sex he was Beloved, and when we broke up and became friends agian, I still called him Beloved. it has always been my pet name for him.
There should be more words like that. More words that specifically relate to what the person means to you.
I have this wonderful relationship that has moved beyond friendship. I feel like we are physically expressing an emotional intimacy that we have had for a while. I want to call him "yummy," or "mmmmm." It's too cumbersome to call out to him "hey you, beautiful man who is worth this risk I am taking, who makes me insainly happy, who rocks my world, do you want anything while I'm in the kitchen?"
We all know this is just an excuse for me to talk agian about how insainly happy I fucking am, but humor me. What are your pet names?
