I don't think asking for respect with personal property or space is too much. But for whatever reason(s), my relatives don't seem to understand the concept of "Judy's not home, maybe we shouldn't just keep going into her room." How many times do I have to tell anyone willing to listen that I have these insane, raging privacy issues? The one person I live with, and my father, know how much I can't handle either hearing about them going in my room or in my stuff or looking at my mail, yet they continue to do it. And for reasons I can't completely imagine, they love to snoop when I'm not home for a few consecutive days--because you know, I am a mega drug addict, alcoholic, rebelious teenager who could use an intervention. I don't ask for a lot from either one of them. And there is absolutely nothing in my room which they either need to get to, or want to use.
And God help me if I get into another screaming match over this with them tomorrow. I've had it.

but yeah, it sucks when people have no respect for privacy
