I'm seeing a lot of posts lately along the lines of "Your triggers are your own problem and no one or organization has any obligation to care about them." This line of thought might be worthy of more consideration if every person I've seen expressing it weren't people who lose their minds over someone kneeling for the national anthem, a person using a bathroom or pronoun they don't like, and kids learning to be inclusive.

That callous indifference to other people being triggered is easy for someone who never had to contend with Roy Rogers and his stupid spurs climbing on. Putting another person through that indignity is difficult to forgive.
