I am just so tired, I have read hundreds of papers and studies, that's not an exaggeration, even a little bit. I have looked at news sources from across the spectrum, and I am exhausted. There is what is real and what is fiction and there are so many people who believe the fiction spoon fed to them by people who stand before judges and tell the truth, no reasonable person would believe me, I have no evidence. We are without hope, there is just too much resistance to reason. Evil will win.

If your response is setting a precedent for how 2022 will unfold then we're finally going to have a wonderful year. Decent, highly intelligent friends of mine who have shown no propensity for consuming human blood or strangling small animals have in the past year aligned themselves with those who preach that the freedom to get sick and infect others is a sacred one that must be exercised at every opportunity. Another cherished belief is that those who have dedicated their lives to learning everything possible about a complex subject are buffoons who must be ignored in favor of actors, lobbyists and attention seekers because those people are the sole keepers of truth. Doctors know nothing of illness but the disgraced lawyer, Robert Kennedy Jr. knows everything. I don't need to point out to you what tragically flawed logic supports these systems of belief but it all makes my flesh crawl. It also lends credence to Fermi's Great Filter model for the fate of civilizations. How I wish it were otherwise. Anyway, bless you, my friend.
