HAPPY CINCO De MAYO...YESTERDAY!
The lingering effects of last night are with me still this morning, but can I say...it was soooo fucking worth it! I woke up this morning to a new sense of understanding and perspective, which I was starving for apparently...
Last night I was invited to take my super-star self to be the celebrity judge at a Guys and Dolls Wet T-shirt contest. I was one of the three women picked to judge the men...although, I did take a peak or two at the ladies...
Shocker, I know.
The free flowing blended strawberry margaritas with sugar made the dark night fog set in quite nicely. It was a nice drunky-fog though. One that led me to an interesting encounter in the bar bathroom.
I was washing my hands and this girl, who was at least comparably intoxicated was staring at my chest and with a little liquid courage asked if 'they' were real...*giggle* It was a very "they are real and spectacular"-Seinfeld moment... and I assured her they were quite real. She doubted me, in a very friendly way, so I assured her in a equally friendly way. And, ya know turn about is fair play, and if she's going to get to 2nd with me, I should very well be entitled to at least the same. It turned out to be very innocent, well, as innocent as two strangers feeling one another up in a public bathroom can be, I suppose. *giggle*
The night ended sometime after the contest and what I think was 7-8 margaritas, and thanks to my fabulous friend Steve, I made it home safe and sound and into the confines of my bed, with telephone in hand. I LOVE DRUNK-DIALING! WOOOT!
This weekend is filled with work and NASCAR Night race, baby! ...I'm logging as many hours as I can, mama's gotta get paid.
Speaking of mama's, Happy Mom's Day Catiedid and Hoocha!!

On a side note, I just have to say, I love that my friends list is overflowing with the most wonderful people on SG. Your words and thoughts have provided more inspiration and love to a much needed heart. I'd like to take you all out for a drink and a kiss...and for a select few, a 2nd base feel in a public ladies room.
Oh, you know who you are.
