Ben Harper and Damian Marley at Red Rocks is one of the best shows I have ever seen. At two seperate points during the show I was saying to myself, "Oh my god, oh my god, oh my god". My mind was blown.

Up this week I'll see two or maybe 3 shows if I am lucky. The guarantees: Shooter Jennings and Cat Power(solo show). The maybe: Wolf Parade.

I am super stoked for the Cat Power show. And maybe if I go to Wolf Parade tomorrow, and the theater doesn't need me for the Shooter show, then I'll go and watch emogoddess get tattooed.

haha! yeah, they were the quintessential record store snobs. they would absolutely sneer unless you were getting some 15 year old out of print japanoise limited edition EP, but chances are excellent that's exactly what I was there for. but this time at barts, I was just looking for the raconteurs cd and the latest cat power album. these things should be right up their alley! but, of course, no luck.

who owns bart's now? seems to be all the same people working there as always, bart himself included.
