There was a sale at the bookstore. I almost never buy new books, but I buy tons of old ones. Consequently I am always several decades behind in my reading.
I'm afraid it's the same story with music.
I saw the cutest girl having coffee. She was talking about her creative writing class at CSUS.
Red hair.
Lots of eye contact.
Red blouse with white stripes on the shoulders.
mango-sized boobies prominent in the red blouse. Well-defined, but covered. A little bit of a poochie belly. Loose denim jeans, still kind of stiffly new.
I told her a little bit about how to get a book in print.
We chit-chatted about veracity in fiction. How not to lose it, once you have it.
I wanted to swim right into her eyes and find out her story. I see her once in a while. But I'm very patient. I have to be.
When I see a girl like that I'm tempted to tell her all about the publishing I've done. thinking it will impress them. But I usually don't. I wait for them to find me. As a consequence of that, I am also deveral decades behind in m sex life.
I wasn't really in love with her anyway.
It was just that blouse, and her eyes. How much eye contact is incidental, and how much is telepathy? I can never tell. You practically have to slobber in my ear before I believe in any of that stuff.
