So I came back to SG after a while. It has been a crazy up and down past couple of years. Lost a few friends on the way. Most recently my friend Kathy died of a sudden heart attack, leaving my friend Dan a widower. She was 47. Lost my father in law to age/illness/cancer at 84. I watched as his body slowly gave out on him through surgery and radiation treatment. He was a Viking, and in his 70's was still skiing better than I ever could. I loved that man he was the best father in law a dude could ever have. Almost lost wife's mom to a seizure a month later, she wasn't eating enough and her saline levels dropped. She spent a few days in hospital recovering. Strong day, she's back to her book clubs and Tai Chi.
To the silver linings. I had a soul searching holiday season given all that's happened. I realized that I am at the point where it's not about doing what makes money, though that's nice. It's about doing what makes your soul, that vibrating energy singing inside you calling out to the gazillion other wavelengths in the universe, content and fulfilled. So I signed up for a certification course in Personal Training and am now a CPT-EFS. Also got my CPR-AED q's as well. It's a big bright scary road, but I embrace it. I want to help people "health" themselves.(I'm copyrighting that )lol.
It's the least I can do to try to do my part to make America Sane Again.
Excelsior!
