what a Spacey day. I spent the morning tuning my bike. Philosophizing over how the all of the fine tuning goes out of whack if you pop out a wheel and then put it back in. The nature of the machine isint in the moving parts, but in the adjustable relationship between them.
between the movement.

it strangely ties in with todays ideas on a...

my ibook and parts arrived in the mail. im a kid in a candy shop. A very, very expensive candy shop filled with very fragile ming-dynasty candy jars.
ah well, in other acts of recklessness, im booking a trip to see my friends in BC. at last! the left coast! my boss will be a little pissed off that im leaving as things are starting...

Stayed up last night kludging an ordinary pair of mud guards onto my front suspension. (fancy front susp. ones cost 2ice as much) Ah, the satisfaction of shaping metal to my evil will. The whole reason i went to tune my bike last night was so i could ride it to work this morning, but i stayed up late. woke up late. took the subway...

well so far most of my animation has been educational animation modules for a dutch university website.
i spend a huge amount of work on that so i never really had much time on the side to do any really big animation projects of my own.

plus that mini website is just a small business card or something like that, i have a few bigger things like a tech manual i illustrated and a short rpg game that i worked on but they're both too large to put on the site for example.

pointless. its all pointless.
this is my conclusion, I am officially quitting any Attempt at securing a Mate before spring. i will now revel in my kinship with the red robot. he is my new mentor.
negative:
Yeah, it did kind of get all psych-O-logical. Like I said, I never really thought about it until I was watching SOTD for the millionth time and my girl asked me what this new obsession with zombies was all about. I had never really seen much until 28 Days Later came out, and then last Halloween I went nuts buying zombie movies to show at our annual party.

Thank you

I avoided going to the bicycle show this weekend, i was terrified that my willpower would fail me and i would buy a new bicycle. So i went and bought a chain scrubber instead. I just spent the evening degreasing and re-lubricating the whole thing. strangely therapeutic to watch that caustic grime slide off the chain. ive still got to fuss the front brake and...

waldo_____:
smile

Saw you in the Futurism group and thought I'd stop by.

So, is your username a legal pun?
waldo_____:
No no, the way you do it is to comment in my journal. The "contact" thing is for private stuff. And of course anyone you send to knows the email address you used to do it.
It is generally considered Poor Form to post replies in your own journal; partly because the person you're replying to won't see them unless they check your journal specifically.

Legal pun: 'Joe' could sound like 'Due'. I don't know if that's a legal term in Canadian law, though I'd guess it is (from a position of complete ignorance smile ).

Cheers!
