If I start out every blog entry this way, eventually people won't even realize that I'm writing new stuff. It will just seem like I'm copy-pasting the same few entries over and over again. That might not actually be such a bad idea. At least that way, I would update more frequently. 
So here we go.
Wow, it's been quite a while since I've updated. In my defense I have been really busy. The play I was acting in just wrapped up this past Saturday night. We had an excellent run. The second week we had some great audiences. My mom, my aunt and Lord H. came to see the show on opening night. I had a major makeout scene which ended with me standing there in only my panties. My mom and aunt didn't know about it. Surprise!
She's pretty much used to me by now, but Lord H. said he heard her say "oh my god!" a couple times.
The last show was amazing. My last major scene was the best it had ever been. Both Danny_g and I teared up. It was... something I don't actually have the words for. Thanks Dan.
After the final show, we had to tear down the set and get all of our stuff out of the theatre space as quickly as possible. Then we had the cast party.
It's been said before but I have to say it again. This theatre company is totally "for awesome". The cast party was so much fun. I'll expand on some of the things I particularly enjoyed.
Red wine - mmmm. No explanation needed.
Tequila - at one point another actor, AC, pulled a few of us over for a shot of his high end (and extremely tasty) tequila. I enjoyed the faces that some of the, ahem, men made. This does not include Dan. Because the two of us are not big babies.
Guitar Hero!!!! - Dan bought this for the party and, oh my god, so much fun! I fear I may now be completely addicted. I've mentioned to Lord H how much I want this at least twice a day since.
Karaoke Revolution - Also fun. Now, karaoke normally scares the crap out of me, but hand me some wine and throw me in front of a bunch of theatre people and you can't get me to shut up. At least I was scoring okay, so it probably wasn't too horendous.
Twister - Drunky twister is a good time. AC drunkenly challenged me to a game for all of his honour. Which I won. Haha.
All the awesome theatre folk - I'm looking at you Masquerade and Danny_g.
The night had a bit of a low point. Every once in a while, I hit the point where one remembers that alcohol is indeed a depressant. I sat by myself in the kitchen for a bit and felt a little shitty. You see, a guy I used to be really close with was at the party. While we can be around each other without any awkwardness now, the combination of alcohol and high emotions from the show was getting me a bit down. I thought I had it pretty well under control by removing myself from the party for a bit, but then he came up behind me in the kitchen, kissed the top of my head, said goodbye for the night and took his leave. Then I fell apart a little. At that point a few people came in and asked if I was okay. Unfortunately, that's my trigger when I'm on the brink and I ended up composing myself in the bathroom for a few minutes.
Not to worry, though. I found the tequila and felt better after a little while.
Enough with the depressing stuff. All and all, everything is pretty good. I'm periodically sad because the show is over, but that's really to be expected. You can't spend several months working with a group of people towards a common goal and then just feel nothing when it's over.
Two nights after the cast party, I hosted a birthday/halloween party for AC. A great time was had by all. I made a cake, Twister and Guitar Hero made repeat appearances and one of my friends dressed as the "Chocolate chip cookie Fairy" and handed out cookies all night.
I dressed up as slave girl Leia. Here I am rocking out on Guitar Hero.
And here's twister. It turns out my costume made this game slightly awkward. I put on some more substantial undies to play. Danny_g is the one dressed in white with his face in my boobs. At this point I had gained Danny's lei. He was dressed as Dionysus, god of wine and theatre. He loudly proclaimed this at various intervals. He also said he was going to demand an inappropriate dance later, but then he never did.
I also ended up with AC's hat. I dunno why. Come to think of it, I ended up wearing his hat at the cast party too. Albeit a different hat...
Since then, I've tried to get some rest. I ate very poorly and didn't sleep enough during the run of the play, so now I'm feeling a little run down. Doesn't mean I can't wait to audition for the next production.
Edited to add: This just in! Lord H is awesome and is going to buy me Guitar Hero II and a PS3. And a Wii. Oh, come on! Please?
