Well I go in on the 31st to start the process of finding out whether or not they are going to take out a chunk of my intestine. I have had gastro problems since I was 18 but never thought it could come to this.
But my problems are minute. When I was in the hospital I shared a room with a man who had just been diagnosed with Liver Cancer. It was inoperatable and could only be treated to prolong his life a couple months. His partner of 40 years came to visit him everyday. Yes he was Gay and they had been together 40 years. I know a lot of straight people who have not been together that long. But you realize you problems are nothing when you have to sit there and listen to some one call all there friends and family and tell them that they are dying. I felt like crying but he never did he had just accepted this. I don't even know his name I know he told me but I can't remeber.
It just makes you think when you expirience some thing like that.
1. Live your Life to the fullest so if it does end early you can accept it with no regrets.
2. Gay people should have the right to be married or some kind of civil union.
3. Treat every one you know with love and respect cause you never know when you may get a phone call telling you they are dying.
I have been thinking for a long time and just had to get it off my chest.
