Grrr, one week and counting with this strep throat ickyness... 
It's a pain in the ass, especially since I have a job where I'm on the phone most of the day.... by noontime I usually have no voice left at all...
Two days and counting until Denver.... I really don't want to be sick-ish on this trip (especially since the altitude there always makes me feel a little funny anyway), so i'll keep popping antibiotics and hope they do their job.

Drink hot water and lemon to sooth the throat ... stay away from caffeine.
