Another Christmas passes. It's been a busy year: PhD, work, a bit o' effort on the screenplay (I hope I make more time for creative pursuits in the '12). I'm headed to Australia in less than 24 hours! Life is looking up.

Have a lovely holiday!

I just watched the Sledgehammer video by Peter Gabriel for the first time in years. Amazing. It's a shame MTV is no longer a medium for music videos.

I saw My Morning Jacket last night. It was phenomenal. However, all bands let this be a warning: with more success, come more douchebags at your concerts. The Abercrombie antics be thick at the old concert pavilion.

You sound like you are such an incredibly caring person who is extremely devoted to your wife. I wish you both the best and that her recovery after the mastectomy is as easy going as possible.

Also, thank you so much for your love and support for my first set...you have my love too!! smile

I really to make better use of this blog. Things have been a bit hectic lately.

It's Sunday morning, and there's nothing like cats, the New York Times, and coffee. I'm enjoying all three tremendously. I hope everyone has a lovely day.
