I almost never travel. Although, this month I'm going to Colonia do Sacramento (Uruguai), stopping in a few other places, like Montevidéu. They are so absolutely charming!
I have no idea about what I'm going to do when I get there, besides buy a lot of chocolate (it's cheaper there). I think is more fun this way. Although, a friend of mine told me that in Buenos Aires (Argentina), there is a place called Palacio Barolo, wich have been built by an Italian architect called Mario Palanti. It's a huge building full of references to Dante Aligheri's poem, Divine Comedy.
The building is divided in three parts: hell, purgatory, and heaven (how cool is that?). Besides that, the structure have 100 meters, one meter for each canto of the Divine Comedy. Also, it has 22 floors, the same number of stanzas of the poem.
There is a similar building in Montevidéu, designed by the same architect, Palácio Salvo. It's glorious.
Does anyone know these beautiful places? Have anyone been there? I would love to hear more suggestions about good places to visit.
And thanks to @rambo and @missy for the homework! I loved it!

This style of architecture speaks to the core of me! I am originally from Baltimore Maryland in US. Much of this type was destroyed in the Great Fire of 1904. For a short while I lived in the Congress Hotel. It sat abandoned for many many years until a group of investors decided to save its historical facade and convert it into modern apartments. I loved it there! Many parks and other historic sites were within walking distance. Look up The Congress Hotel on Google and see if you agree. I was on the top left corner unit, the views were amazing!
