Well I went running yesterday for the first time in ages, it was something that I avoided doing because of my past knee injury and not wanting to injure it again. But all and all it was nice to do it, though the weather conditions were far from the best which was the only thing that stunk. But of course I am going to do it again, have to, need to be able to run 1.5 miles in probably about 12 minutes of so to get a good score for PT testing for the Navy Reserve.
On that last part, I talked to a recruiter Wednesday, and I have to find my old DD214 from when I was in the Army Reserve, and get that to him, the records folks say I wasn't issued one but I know different, because I had one in my hand when I came home. That form could make the difference as to whether I can get in or not. My other problem is getting my body fat level down, which I am still working on of course. Have to give a guy a break a couple of years ago I weighed nearly 400lbs and am now back down to around 220, and have lost roughtly 140lbs in that time, so no wonder I am sort of stuck right now, but trying my damndest to unstick myself, and hopefully adding the running will do just that.
