I am really having trouble just dealing with the sheer excitement of my life right now.
So, yesterday I was asked to perform in "Bad Sex with Neal Pollack" (the author of several books and many dirty bits on Nerve.com) at the 215 Festival in Philadelphia. I was, um, really excited to get an email from Neal Pollack out of the blue.
My blogging gig with Fleshbot is still happening (I was hired to do a two-week blogging stint, but then the editor I was working with was evacuated from New Orleans). Things are looking auspicious that you'll see posts by "J. Dziura" in a week or so.
I have additionally been contacted by a woman who is doing a documentary on women in comedy. And I got a spot in a comedy club showcase for a college booker.
And ... the New York Times contacted me about an article on spelling bees.
I am enjoying all the hot fairy godmother action.
If you are missing Molly on SG, you can see her at my next Jenny Vaudeville Show, where she will eat fire, strip, and then bring up a volunteer from the audience for a fire-eating lesson. The show also features sarcastic clowns and rubber duckies given as prizes. October 12, 10pm, Pete's, free.
