I'm being a total bum today! Yesterday I hit the jackpot at 3 different thrift stores, and fought the crazy lady crowd at Joann's. Once I got home, it became apparent that I'd be spending the rest of the day doing laundry. Been doing the indoor line drying with good results thanks to the riduclously priced Peg's Handyline. My goal is use the dryer as little as possible this winter. Pretty much everything gets a 10 minute low heat tumble after coming off the line, to soften up the fabric - but that's it. YAY for being an eco-tightwad.
The game plan last night was to curl up in bed with our new laptop and watch Peter Pan (I know, exciting, right?). By the time Wendy was sewing his shadow back onto his shoes - I was out for the count. Woke up feeling more tired than when I went to sleep. After my shower this morning, I just put on ~clean~ pajamas, not expecting any major expenditure of energy on my part.
I did however, manage to get a few things done today. dyed my hair, put some shit on ebay, and now I'm about to go get pissed off at my sewing machine. Still debating on selling the two machines I have now and buying a really good one that will cause less headaches. Not sure if I want to spend any money - just haven't been in the mood to drop any cash these days.
Work has become a bit depressing lately. So many people coming in with no hope of finding a job - worrying about bills, mortgages, health insurance. It's kind of taken the wind out of my sails as far as the holidays go. More than a few people have mentioned Christmas being "cancelled". It's all very sad

Yea this weekend is my bday weekend so no go there (not that i have plans but still)
next weekend friday i am free (hopefully not OT at work) saturday i am free during the day, my boyfriend is singing a small part in a friends' band that night at mckennas so if we want to do a daytime saturday thing, then have the concert as an option (http://www.davishurley.com) that would be ok, too.
