I have shocked, SHOCKED the library world by deciding to read the Harry Potter books only after having seen the movie. There hasn't been this type of uproar in my professional community since I informed my library grad school mates that I neither wore glasses nor contacts. They probably thought I was a plant.
This means I have recently started reading the Goblet of Fire. I'm half-way through now. I suppose the biggest difference I have noticed between the print and screen versions is one has little words you have to read and the other has moving images.

Heh heh
Cool bit with that Life boardgame
Heh. Sometimes there is no need for comparison, it is either a good work in and of itself or as faithful as it could be to the book and therefore just good.
