Right, so @onyxheart decided to do her own little follower homework, and I've decided to take part because it gives me something to talk about aside from my boring, work-saturated life. So, the first question is "What does SG mean to you and why do you like it?"
To me, Suicide Girls is a support group for those of us who can't or won't fit in with mainstream society. It's our refuge from the world that wants us to be just like it. That's not to say that none of us would fit in out there if we tried, but here we've literally got all kinds of people, and we all accept each other for who we are. I see folks talk about how they get to meet up with other amazing people that they've met through SG, and I see the amazing support that we give to each other when one of us is going through a hard time. It's a community, a strong and accepting one, and for us as social creatures, that means a lot. It's like a meeting ground for awesome people from all over the world.
It's a pretty American thing, and I guess especially a Southern thing, to associate nudity with sexuality. Being a member here has definitely helped me tear down that association, even though I still have very strong reservations about stripping down myself, but that's more for a different reason.
I guess that's what SG means to me, and I like it because while looking at beautiful, nude women is certainly a pleasant way to spend time, SG is more than that, and so are the girls.
