Ok, I'm averaging about 1 to 2 comments/replys per night, but I'm getting there.
My brain is fried... It been a long (useless) week.
So try this story on for size.
I just finished reading Rydell's blog & how she was saying s%&* was hitting the fan so-to-speak in relationships. I think it's some kind of astrological conspiracy...
One of the girls I work with invites me out for dinner (keep in mind I am 2 to 3 generations younger than my co-workers -- even though I act older). She proceeds to tell me the story of how her fiance woke up one night & with no (or very little) provocation kicked her out in the street, in her PJs (thank goodness), took all of her jewellery (read: engagement ring, promise ring, & some $30 dollar shit), & locked her out -- refusing to take any of her calls for weeks. Now I'm not the biggest fan of all cops, but in some cases I think this is warranted. Which I explained of course, but she said she got all her other stuff back by showing up with friends, so didn't want to make it worse. How is it going to get worse?
Anyway, she's known this guy for years. I mean she's 35 years old, & was friends for 4 years before dating for 2 years & the wedding was set for next summer. The guy has custody of 17-year-old twins & brought his mom in to live with him... I'm unofficially known as the office shrink (because I actually listen to people &, well, don't talk ever), but what I do know about psychology says this guy has had some psychotic break. Maybe I'm naive, but people don't just do that -- do they?
She had too much to drink at dinner, so I did what any self-respecting DD would do & took her down to the Stampede grounds (think really REALLY big amusment park, all-in for a 10 day party -- for non-Calgarians). Got to see Finger Eleven live (cool), but watching drink-induced flirting is enough to make a person stop dating, if a person was dating that much to begin with.
And people wonder why I don't want to get married to the wrong person (that's another night's blog)...
I've been feeling beat up for days now (I don't party well),
but I'll update when I'm back to my normal routine.

No conspiracy here, probably just human nature.
In the height of sobriety last night I suffered some drunken flirting and I am so there. Its horrid. Blah!
Hope you recover from partying soon!
