Why is it so hard to find dyeable shoes

I'm currently very frustrated about this
I am looking online, and they're all made with leather soles. Why would I want to kill a cow just to walk on it's hide? Is this really necessary?

(Forgive my ineptitude, I'm just a simple man who only owns four pair of footwear: work boots, dress boots, dress shoes that are too small, and el-cheapo sandals.)
Frito Pie is heaven. So simple to make too! Chili, cheese, Fritos, and onion for zest. Mmmmmmmm.
