No time for details in this update, but I'm still here. More involved in my long-term career prospects than ever, and we'll have a good idea of its payoff in the next month. Meanwhile, it's a helluva ride. . . Friends are disappointing me with their lack of backbone recently, such that I find myself getting rid of those who are just furniture in my life. Standing by your convictions can be a sad, lonely thing, but at least you can look yourself in the mirror, and I can't imagine much worse than not being able to. . . . hope the impending return of my buddy The Fro will bring some reinforcement to my life. It's a pretty scary time in my life, although things could always be worse.

Fairweather friends really SUCK don't they? Fuck that. I got rid of most of mine when I got married. And actually I think Wal-Mart would be better than Target.
