Dave Mirra = BMX, a sport that consumed my life in high school. Mirra is one of my riders and I do still own two BMX bikes.

Supermoto is a combination of Motocross and roadracing, which is my current passion. If you're an X-Games fan, Mike Metzger and Travis Pastrana race SM also. Basically it's a dirt bike modified with road wheels and tires and big fucking brakes. Coming from racing street bikes the last three years, SM is more fun than a room full of free high dollar hookers! If you go back in my journal a few entries, you can see pictures of my bike and a couple more back and me on it at the track.

Man...I had forgotten who I was! Thanks for reminding me! I've gotten so wrapped around work since the beginning of the year, I haven't really done much of anything else....my whole life schedule was eat, sleep and work..isn't that sad? I'm trying to get back to living though. I've been getting off around 5 and 6pm instead of midnight so I can spend more time with my family....but I still don't feel completely like myself yet. I can't even hardly sit down to watch tv without thinking I'm supposed to be doing something else you know? I don't know...I love the new profile pic though! WOOOOOO!

On the pump.... Our cases are slightly different.
I've been a diabetic for about 14 years and was on the insulin my pump required (Humalog) a few years before I started the pump so it was less of a transition.

That said the pump is definitely worth it. I had a hard time with the little gun thing that they gave me to insert the I.V. but I switched to manual and it was comfortable and so much better. With the latter it used to burn uncomfortably when I would insert the pump-why won't manufacturers learn that diabetics don't want to be shot with needle guns? The manual way is so much better-like injections. Just be sure to used the I.V. prep strips, never plain rubbing alcohol.
