i saw a girl peel a banana backwards today. she picked off that funny brown part i always leave in the peel after i'm through eating one, and ate it from the bottom up. she was taller than me.
a man i assume to be partially deaf mumbled to me at the bus stop until i could decipher '267' from him, the bus i was waiting for, then a bumbled 'five minutes', i gathered it was meant to be a question. i said yeah, should be here in about five minutes, and he turned and hobbled down the street with his cane. upon returning i realized he wanted to know if he had time enough to get a chocolate bar from the off licence down the way. he had plenty, as his rickety skeleton strolled back up the pavement, he stopped and ate his chocolate with a few minutes to spare before the bus pulled up.
what a weekend i've had. it's been just lovely, so good to see friends, and amazing company the entire time. thank you for that, by the way. sunday was beautiful day leading into a gorgeous nite, it's too bad the picnic wasn't today.
i'm losing track of time differences back home. i have two interviews this week. one may enable me to stay in the country much longer than i had anticipated. but i'm not going to count my chickens before they're hatched...as it could jinx the entire thing! and knowing my luck...it would.
i need something sweet. chocolate would be lovely...but i may have to settle for crumpets and jam, cause that's all i have.
that's all for now i think. monday starts a fresh week, hope yours is good.

So the job market is being a pain for you? I think a large proportion of people on this site can sympathise greatly. I definitely can, i need permanent work, although my work with the council is reasonably well paid, its temping and i don't get either sick pay or any decent holiday allowance, and to someone who hasn't taken a holiday in over 6 months, that is a big deal. I really hope something comes along. Here's some of the luck that I don't seem to have when it comes to work.
