it's disgustingly hot in london right now. puke i work too hard all day for it to be this warm. frown
i just realized i don't have much to say. hmm, i'm starting to see an unsettling pattern in my journal entries. please excuse how boring they've been the last bit. my life has been interesting and strange at the same time...but for the most part i...

Words are everything & nothing at the same time. Unspoken words can make situations better sometimes.

All in all, the possibilities are endless.

most evenings after work i sit at home at my window and stare at the planes as they climb further up into space, through the clouds until they dissapear. they come and go all the time, and it makes me miss home. it's actually quite a strange phenomena when i sit and think about...

so, are you ultimately happy you moved to london? it does sound like you are having some fun, and i'm jealous that you get to hang out with joshua so much. i miss all those kids a lot.

i thought of you the other day, me and my sister were driving down this super creepy, super dark road and it looked just like the road in house of a thousand corpses where they meet baby. i told her the story of you and me and lindsay and dave at the movie theatre and it made everything seem a bit less creepy. hopefully i'll get to see lindsay soonish smile

i'm on a constant emotional rollercoaster. cliche much? yeah, i know. anyway, i broke down crying at the 'orange' store yesterday after having a hell of a time trying to figure out how to get a replacement phone for the one that was stolen out of my purse on saturday evening. it will be an interesting week w/o communication.
still have yet to sort out...

Dear Tate Modern

I am writing to compain about the restaurant on your sevenh floor.
First off, as a visitor to your fine Nation's capitol, I think that I should be entitled to the best seat in the whole building. When I finally moaned enough to recieve this, I was disappointed that the citys skyline wasn't too my liking and the sun had gone in. In addition to this, I couldn't understand my waiter at all, and you seem to let in any old riff raff into your establishment.
I do however agree with your prices and think suckling pig is a suitable choice for a sandwich filler.

Yours sincerely,

Mrs Victoria Snide.

well i've returned from a rather intersting week at glastonbury. rain, mud, dirty nappies, whining kids, ice cream cones, screaming laughing happy kids, very few decent bands, and a long car trip home. i camped for almost an entire week! and no, i did not get a chance to shower at all while i was there. it was fucking awful.
got to see a few...

Hey Jayne! It's been a while... hope you are finally getting settled in to your new home and doing well. Your new set looked fantastic. Easily your best to date. I just wanted to drop you a quick note to say hello and let you know I have the new Interpol lp. If you want to hear it get in touch on AIM and I'll send you the files. It's a fucking incredible album.

looks like i have...as a certain person has said...landed on my feet since my arrival in london. working on my fourth week here, i have found permanent work that could easily turn into a situation that will keep me here for a few years. i couldn't be happier, things seem to be falling into place. in a week and a half or so i'll have...

So the job market is being a pain for you? I think a large proportion of people on this site can sympathise greatly. I definitely can, i need permanent work, although my work with the council is reasonably well paid, its temping and i don't get either sick pay or any decent holiday allowance, and to someone who hasn't taken a holiday in over 6 months, that is a big deal. I really hope something comes along. Here's some of the luck that I don't seem to have when it comes to work. smile
godzuki:
glad to see you're acclimating and that your week is off to a nice start!

While we ate, a beatiful, heavy reain fell l ike a string of pearls from the heavens. Afterward we walked all the way back home down Fifth Avenue along those dark, washed, and empty streets and we only saw about two people. It was as if everyone had left the city; we were virtually alone in New York that night.
When we finally got to...

For some reason I find exeptional and accessible beauty in passages, poems and authors that capture intense, deep emotions in almost casual actions that are "real" and "touch the earth".

Thank you for this one.
