Ya just hafta love Niki McClure



Amazing artist, in my opinion.



So, maybe im a little biased because she has done some work depicting variuos states of mamahood, but she does other work which is equally wonderful. Check her out.

So, I am back from Seattle, back from the birth. It was long and difficult, and I was really homesick. I am still going over the events in my mind. I spoke to the mama today and she felt great about her experiance. She had a nearly 10 pound girl, via c-section. She was attempting a vaginal birth after having had a prevoius cesarean with her first child. It was important to her not to have another c-section. I was worried about her mental and emotional health, but apparently she is fine with it.

Thank goodness.

So, now I am trying to play catch up with my sleep and take care of myself. I am happy to be home.......
