burring through mid week work recoil spent whole days stretching aboriginal canvases for a gallery hundreds of the blasted things after a while they merge into one great super painting taking over my consciousness
at least i can claim to be a minor connisseur of contempory aboriginal art... 95 % of it is crap just some poor sod chucked a few tubs of paint and set working but a few are inspired pieces of art in their own right
also found out that one of my older paintings has made it onto the second hand art market via sothsbys art auction with a reserve of $15000 Cool but not sure if that means much for me apart from the morale boost
i mean fuck why spend 15 grand on an old one when a new one is only half that
too bad
and my next show is in feburary at ray hughes gallery in sydney
so soon i will forgo a life for non stop painting
not really looking forward to that much
