jab

it is freezing today. well, for here at least, witches teet style. i prefer extreme layering over big coats. wife beater, white t, space age snowboarder long john shirt, long sleeve t shirt, sweatshirt jacket, dad's beat up old army jacket. i'm skinny and i don't do well in the cold.

back to work today. i ended up skipping out on yesterday too, because i think a 2 day food poisoning is more realistic than a 1 day. did nothing all day and it was great of course. last night i treated myself to a fancy dinner at Porterhouse - good meal, nice waitress. i got warm bread first, and they brought out a massive, as in several pounds, block of cheese and one of the slicer tools that's kind of shovel shaped. pretty slick. of course i ate too much bread and cheese and couldn't finish my meal.

heading out in a little while for a bday party at, oh ya, a roller skating rink. he'll be 30. now i haven't broken out a pair of roller skates in many years, but it's his party right? there'll be some falling down i'm sure. afterwards a bar i haven't ever heard of. it should end early enough for me to hit the MR and deliver the fine late xmas gift i got for thirsty that arrived the other day. i get everything mail order delivered to work tho, so it had to wait a couple of days while i was "sick" before i could retrieve it.

no work tomorrow. applied for the day off last week. those fucking bastards will be without my services once again. i plan to stay out late.
