well i certainly don't want to get into it here. currently watching the simpsons be in africa.

i started grocery shopping again, so i'm proud of myself for that. plenty of bad stuff, but it's nice to have some good stuff around too. it's a delicate balance. i got a smoothie specific blender from my mom this year. hmm, homer just made a blender crack. odd. i haven't gotten into the Smoothie Pro 600 yet, but i have a regular blender and i got a bunch fruit with the 600, so i bought the shorter shelf life items myself, and one of everything i have is the current blend of choice.

1 avacado
1 banana
1 green apple
7 ice cubes
1 nectarine
1 orange
1 red apple
about a half cup of vanilla rice dream (fake milk)
blend in ice crush mode.

you should get two full pints out of this. super filling. i'm having one right now. very good for hangovers when you're not ready to muscle down a sandwich yet. the beauty is that nothing is too overpowering - i could toss a bell pepper in there to darken the green shade even more and it wouldn't fuck it up. maybe tomorrow.

so a different old pal is coming in town tonight, and it's another old pal's last night, so my return to the 2 towers with thirsty has been postponed until sunday. i'll just have to manage. I AM READY. he hasn't seen it yet, and is not ready just as i wasn't. tonight however, shall be a night of mischief.

so eat smoothies. watch movies. have a good weekend like you own the joint.
