i'm sorry... i've been there, and wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy. work anxiety dreams are hell. i used to have this awful recurring nightmare involving chicken that wouldn't cook. i just kept searing it and searing it and it was raw regardless. the chef would continually lean over me, screaming that we couldn't serve it to the customers like that.
*shudder*
have you seen the happiness of the katakuri's? i just rented it... and was very confused and abit dissapointed in miike. it had it's moments, but...
i'm seeing land of the dead tomorrow. apres vous tonight. ah, escapism.

On Saturday I could not speak and I was feeling near-dead. I believe it was the first time I've ever called in sick to work where I was literally physically incapable of working. My roommate, The Meat Handler, saved my life by giving me some leftover perscription pills that supposedly cured his pnuemonia circa back in the day. These things looked like Tic-Tacs from hell;...

This week has been one of the hardest weeks of my life. I have definitely had harder weeks emotionally and mentally, but this has got to be the hardest week I've ever had physically. I've never worked over sixty hours a week before, but to work sixty hours a week with a bad cold and a blown eardrum while quitting smoking....

There were many points...

Whelp, my intended vacation from all things internet has to end abruptly for a moment. Or at least be postponed. I just wanted to get on this thang to let you all know that I had to check into the emergency room this morning. Yes, I'm okay.

I woke up from a nap yesterday with an earache. I complained about it at work and they...

I hope you're ok, Scriv. Noisy music is what makes most things endurable.

I've been sick this past week i'm just starting to get over it and now I have two jobs so I'm going to be suuuuuuuper busy and also that's where I've been and that's where I'll be but don't worry 'cause I just paid my SG.com bill so I'll still be here for another three months at least!

Damn, Gillian is sexy. How could I...

A little somethin' somethin' I wrote for Campus Progress

I'll be the first to admit it: I'm a natural born slacker. I would like nothing better than to spend the rest of my life, hanging out on the porch, drinking a Pabst Blue Ribbon and smoking a cigarette. If it were up to me, I would never get up before 3pm and I would never...

Ugh.

I feel like I was working the mines last night. Or maybe plowing fields. Like some kind of ranch hand.

All the muscles in my body want to know why I hate them so much. I'm never moving again for the rest of my life.

But on the plus side:

Quote of the Day (Last Night)

While listening to the song "We Suck Young...

And now, ladies and gentlemen, I am going to say my first ever negative thing about SG. Actually, this probably says much more about me than it does about them, but regardless...

For those of you that don't know me and how I'm weirdly picky when it comes to women; imagine John Cusack's character from High Fidelity mixed with Jack Black's character from High Fidelity...

I've had many a similar experience on here myself. "Damn, that lady is hot--wait, she likes Blink-182? How puuuuuunk. puke" (Yes, I do emoticon when speaking to myself, you've got a problem with it?)

Dear Tiny Bookshelf,

I am sorry I threw you, and the two-dozen or so books you contained, across my room in anger last night. I really shouldn't put my agression out on inanimate objects. Especially loyal and helpful inanimate objects such as yourself.

Love,

Jordan
flowerofromance:
Aw, don't hurt the books!

(This coming from someone who is eternally guilty of folding down the corners of pages. To me books aren't sacred--but the ideas behind them are.)
gogo:
yes yes! i had lucid dreams like that sometimes and i loved it!
like something bad was happening but then i realized i was dreaming so i used to decide to run away flying or something and then doing what i wanted! it was great!
most of the times tho, to me it's the same: when i realize i'm dreaming, i wake up frown

I would just like to remind everyone that there are 666 suicide girls as of today.

That is all.
flowerofromance:
I passed the 666th comment mark yesterday.

Wow, how sad.
lucy:
Thanks for the sweet comment on my set, it made my day.

It doesn't get better than early Pavement.

It just doesn't.

Sorry.

Also: Who is this Mark Ryden character and why does every SG seem to worship him?
