Update central:
The cold became a flu. Thank God for Tylenol, Codeine, Robitussen, asprin and tea with honey and lemon. I am still not going out again today but I felt much better after the 101.4 fever broke at 8am this morning. Still I am cold in a long sleeve shirt. Must wear a sweater. Hands cold too.

Thanks for the nice words. Girls like me? Um, yeah I guess I've developed a strange mack over the last few years, some combination of pseudo-professorial/ been-there-done-that/ older guy thing with some actual sensitivity and lotsa confidence that comes from always dating women far more attractive than me! Now I've got my first serious online crush and the girl lives way the fuck away and is REALLY young (not illegally so but...) and it's weird. Anyway I have some dates coming up soon, asked some friends out and also a few from nerve. I batch-date -- get my confidence up, ask a buncha diff. people out at once, see what happens.
Still, this one girl was seriosuly tugging my heart strings tonight and it was just a freaking IM -- what's THAT about? The world is a very weird place, did you know that?
