It's nice to know I'm not the only one who takes interest in such (mostly) useless knowledge like the difference between cupcakes and muffins. Some of you really surprised me by knowing the answer. That's what I get for judging books by their covers.

In other news, I feel pretty.
Blurry, but pretty.

My life isn't terribly exciting these days, but certainly not bad. The term chillaxing comes to mind. Here's a basic rundown of what I've done since I got home a month ago:
~Boyfriend time. Lots of it.
~Watched all but 4 episodes of Sports Night. So fun.
~Saw a few movies, including Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. I don't care what anyone else says, I enjoyed it. I do, however, have a strong preference for the old Oompa Loompas.
~Read How To Be Good and Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, and finished The Kite Runner, all of which I recommend.
~Took a one-day Intro to Child Development course at Bank Street College of Education
~Went dancing. Downtime, The Metro at Pyramid, and the last Panty Party at Opaline.
~Rafted, fished, drank, and chilled with some interesting, adorable, rocking, fantastic, and fun people on the SG East Coast Camping Trip.
~Dropped in on the 4th of July BBQ.
~Helped throw my Dad a surprise 60th birthday party. We were worried, but it turned out that he was, in fact, surprised, and the party was smashing.
~Celebrated the boyfriend's 21st birthday. A decent-sized group of us went to Lazer Park. For someone who hadn't played "lazer" tag in nearly a decade, I didn't do so badly.
~Went to a bazillion dance classes.
~Spent quality time with a few quality people.
~And baked some super-delicious brownies.
The bottom line? I can't complain.

and yes maam, every month SG gives away $1,000 to the best submitted set of the month. The winner is always deserving, so I gotta hand it to the judges. Some of the previous winners for the set of the month are: both of manko's sets (yes, she won TWICE!) VOLTAIRE'S set with dave navvarro, and malloreigh's sin city set
