Tunes of the Moment play list.
Pigeons from Hell by Jackson Phibes: Newest tune from Phibes solid fun driving horror slop with that weird groove that just calls you to bop along.
Pride by The Hellacopters: Great retro 70's rock that questions blind pride in your faith and country
A New England by Billy Bragg: I have always dug the Groovie Ghoulies cover of this tune, and it's great. There is something that is just spot on with the introspection of the lyrics and feel of the tune.
Everybody's Movin' By Glen Glenn from one of those Songs the Cramps Taught Us comps: ... Country/rockabilly tune that I just like the tempo and feel of....
Under the Milky way by The Church: yeah yeah 80's one hit wonder proto Alternative,,,, still it's a cool song, it's lush, dark and ghostly.
Unchained by Johnny Cash: You have to have at least one tune by the Man in Black... always...
Darkness Darkness by The Screaming Trees: A great lost track by a band that never really got their due... it's solid mid tempo rocker that's some where between Sweet Oblivion and Dust.
Neverland by The Damned: You have to hear this tune from their last album Grave Disorder, it's fun, garagy and it's about Michael Jackson and his image and life....
Angela by New Math: This is the tale of one of the Shangra La's whi died a junkie... at least that's what the band told me... still a 77' punk/power pop band doing a dark girlband sounding tune
Maganitic City by Silverbullet: Swedish band doing a lush stoogesesque tune that has energy and a brightness that I haven't heard a lot in pop music lately.
Plan 9 Channel 7 by The Damned: Their most classic horror tune, tells of Vampira's love of James Dean.
Live Fast, Die Bizarre by Sex Sex Sex: Sweden's best and only GG Allin/ Horror rock scum rockers.. they didn't always hit their mark with their tunes, but when they were good they were rock solid and this is one of their best.
Night of the Creeps by The Spectormen: Cool danzig sounding horror punk that is more rockabilly than misfits wannabe....
Unbidden by The Forbidden Dimension: one of my fave tunes of all time... haunted house, burried secrets and investigators what more could you want?
Alternative Nation by Nutrajet: Hi Energy Power Pop taking it's best shot at the Alternative Nation, I love social comentary
Carry Me Home by The Hellacopters: another tune from their latest CD (which I have had since sept 2002) that just got an US release... It's just good solid rock and roll..
I'm also pimping the Atomic Swindlers Video make with the klickly.
