I'm just typing randumb words here, so sorry for the non sequiter nature of this post...
anyway
Vulcan 1937, bronze plate on a door outside of some University of Michigan office complex.
work has been crazy but when your having an opening week with people sleeping outside of the store to get in, you are going to have crazy. Stupid shoppers who can't recall where they parked, or deal with the way the store is run.
my sister, I love her, but could she be considerate enough not to call late at night and bitch about her life...and then space out when I try to talk to her about mine???
sleep... man I have had the hardest time getting out of bed the last couple of weeks. It's got to be partly the heat, which just kills my energy, and partly the not having to be to work until mid afternoon.
Writing, what the hell is wrong with my brain some times I just can't seem to keep the motivation to write down or recall all the elements of the story that I was dreaming up.
music, I don't even know what I am listening to lately. I have been sitting in silence a home and tuning out the muzack at work for a while. there isn't anything that screams 'listen to me' lately...
The A Team... not as bad as I thought it would be, not as good either.
Have Gun Will Travel.... solid show, entertaining, and fun, but at the same time mature enough to keep me interrested.
Star Track: City on the Edge of Forever... the so called Best episoid of the original series. I wonder how different the Harlan Ellison script was from what ended up in the show. Shoddy sets and Shackting all over the place aside, it was an well written show. Joan Collins in the soft light looking young, hot and fuckable didn't hurt either.
The Secret Lives of Dentists:
I don't know what to think of this film. I liked seeing a family doing real family things. I like that the events of the affair that the wife was having were kept mostly off screen. I think the best part was seeing the whole family sick at the same time, and sick in a realistic way, I can't think of any other film I have seen deal with that.
blame it all on the heat.... I just hate sweating and the dehydration that comes with it.
no questions or anything this time.... i'll type something more later.
