Shakespeare courses are boatloads of fun if you're into language. King Lear is one of my all-time favorite works of literature--it makes me cry every time I read it. It doesn't work as a play that well, but the writing is stunning.

And whoever your film studies professor is needs to be shot. A class on the most influential American filmmakers without Orson Welles? (And including Kubrick, whose entire career was based on ripping off Welles' style?)

Professor crushes are the best. I had way more than I can count in college.
