And now for something completely different!
Going to party tonight!
Partying (edit: and by partying I mean getting sloppy drunk) is something funny for me. I say I do it more than I do, and when I do party, I usually don't like to make mention of it. That's and odd quirk I guess. A few years ago I'd make stupid remarks about drinking and such; I suppose I've grown out of that. Now I drink to relax or enjoy the bitterness of a hard drink. Funny how people evolve over time.
Likely I'll get all hyped about getting sloshed and not really do it all so much, then I'll go "sober up" (aka realized how many greenbacks I flew through), be a slightly strange mix of bitter/depressed/jovial and, well, be the same way I normally am after, except broke and nowhere from where I started, mentally, physically or emotionally. I guess I'll be more experienced financially, but I'll likely not pay attention to that lesson for long.
All in all, I plan on having an awesome night tonight. Got some good people to spend new years with! And best of all? I won't be spending it on the computer! No sitting in a small room in front of a TV watching someone else's repeat new-years ball, or sulking about what I don't have. It's kind of like thanksgiving, but no turkey.
