I guess I can forget the new house now. I just got a call this morning that told me that I was being laid off. I can't believe this shit! Things have been going so great and now this happens. I have been with the company for 5 years and it's going to be a bitch to find a job where I make this much money in this job market. I feel soo sick right now. I am going to have to take at least a $20000 pay cut jut to make sure I can pay my bills next month. Even at that pay cut the market is so bad for techies, that I am not sure I will find anytihng. My cheap skate company is only giving me 2 weeks od severance. Unemployment here I come!
