I tried to check on the topic by visiting your pics... I personally do not like diets at all.

If you want to do it for you do it, but there's no use doing it for your mother!

You are sure beautiful. Your picture lured me to your profile after all... wink kiss

Diets are lame- I just put myself through that mess. My sympathies, and I'm sorry that your mom is such a bummer.

Do you go in chat anymore?

To those who celebrated, Gong Xi Fa Cai.

My eldest sister is married to a Chinese Indonesian so we were invited to celebrate Chinese New Year with her husband's side of the family.

Aside from the fact that a whole lunar year is named after an animal (there's something really rad about that) the best thing about the day is that every unmarried person...

HAHA, I wish it was that easy on this side of the world, All the Chinese people I know are kinda racist, it must be the California thing, Asians only hang out with Asians and only date Asians. It's a bit too sad, specially since mixed-race babies are the prettiest.

And...being confrontational like me means a lot of unwanted trouble...big trouble most of the time, oftentimes I wish I'd just shut my mouth.

One of my close friends is Chinese Indonesian and I didn't get crap. Where do I apply for reconsideration?

A random fact worth noting:

In Obamas inaugural speech, the President only used the word I three times.

Twice in the opening:

I stand here today humbled by the task before us, grateful for the trust you have bestowed, mindful of the sacrifices borne by our ancestors. I thank President Bush for his service to our nation, as well as the generosity and cooperation he...

Teddy Roosevelt is my favourite American president. The thought that Obama is taking inspiration from him makes me like him ever more - Obama, that is. Leave it to someone across the ocean to say something insightful about American politics; you're picking up the mainstream media's slack. smile

Finding out you were engaged was the perfect ending to the mourning of the death of you and me.

I can confidently say that I am now over you.

I feel empowered. Not only by this new revelation but by all the women on this website that - like me - are not your average size 10-12. All you plus-sized women have really made...

I've always wanted to visit Jakarta, and just the fact that there are thunderstorms as epic as you describe them, that's more than enough to gain my attention. There is something about electricity that scares me and attracts me in the most primitive way, the way some people stare into fire for hours.

"Im afraid the wine has stolen for itself the latter details of the evening. But flashes remain. Were embraced, feverish and damp in the familiar insecurity of our naked skin. Dominant and submissive, we exchanged our worldly respect for the degradation to which we are so careful to hide our addiction. Each of us becomes in turn a willing slave to satiate the others otherwise...

The older I get the more perceptive I am to the flaws in my parents relationship. Its not rocket science; married couples are supposed to love, communicate, share, compromise the list is endless.

When I look at my parents, I see the remnants of what was once a great relationship. Now, all that is left is silence. And a lot of resentment.

Im no great...

You know how your skin starts to crawl and you start to feel itchy when someone mentions mosquitoes? Or if you see someone else scratching themselves? Its happening right now. I found a tick on my dog this evening and now I cant shake the feeling that somewhere on my body there is a little tick snacking on my blood. I cant sit still. Its...

OBVIOUS.

They sat on opposite sides of the table.

Silence.

A rustle of newspaper as he turned the page.

The bleeping of a cellphone keypad.

Then silence again.

The cellphone chirped and hummed as it vibrated. She picked it up and flipped it open to read its secret.

She sighed.

"What is it now?" He asked in his usual monotone - the type of tone...

That sounds awesome. I loved using the Holga camera when i was in college. It seems like kind of the same thing. I've since given it to my sister, but maybe I'll ask for it back.

That was quite great if I may say, I had to look back into your blog to find more.
And cheers on the Diana, there is nothing more satisfying than the sound of that mechanical click of the camera and the waiting and the fear that the picture might not come out as well as the surprise when the print turns out to be even greater than you remember.

They both sat on the couch smoking cigarettes.

She was reading a book.

He was humming while he snapped his snakeskin lighter open and shut repeatedly to the beat of his song.

They both took a long drag of their cigarettes; she exhaling a few seconds before he did.

He turned to face her and watched her as she read. She was engrossed in her...
