Her death was a bad thing to happen however she knew full well there were people out to get her. She had a lot of enemies both extremist and political alike. Even had she kicked Musharaf out of office it would have been a very big ask for her to put Pakistan on its feet again - considering her opponents. The hope is for that Pakistan doesn't descend into civil war - that would play into the hands of Bin Laden and his brainwashed ilk.
