Oh man... been so busy as usual. It's tough to keep this thing updated because I always feel like I should just wait so I can include more stuff that I've been doing.
So last weekend we played a showcase show for Mistress Juliya. Got to talk to her a bit, she's a cool chick. She also now owns a Malthus beanie - which I think is badass. Her camera man said he got some great footage of us, which means hopefully we'll end up on her show. About half way through our set we actually had people standing up on the bar in order to see what the fuck was going on on stage - that's how much we rocked the place.
One girl who is a regular at the place said to us "Are you guys up next?" To which we replied "Yeah.." and then she said the greatest thing ever... "Good, I can finally enjoy this show!"
Yay for fans....
We didn't get home from that show until like 5 am.... was a fun night.
The next night my buddy Nate had a zombie movie night at his house... he'd never really watched a zombie flick before so of course I tried to educate him the best I could. We started with what you should always start with - Night of the Living Dead. Then we moved on to Return of the Living Dead, then The Re-Animator, and closed with the remake of Dawn of the Dead. We tried to show different types of zombie films so he could kind of see their evolution through film....
That was another 5am night.....
That Sunday was a lot of nothing until I met up with the gang for dinner and we decided to go drink some Absinthe.
That was another 5 am night..... with work in the morning.
Due to that ridiculous weekend of non-stop fun and little sleep I ended up getting sick to which I'm still recovering. Had to call out sick on Tuesday The work week was pretty bland.
Then this week I went to see GWAR on Friday - always a bad ass show. Then last night was a fairly unproductive practice, ha. So this weekend's been much more toned down.
I want to thank Meagan for buying me something off my wishlist. You're such a sweetheart, I don't know what made you do it - but seriously it made my day. I bragged to all my friends that I got a random present from a pretty girl. They called me a dork.... fuck 'em.
Anyways, spoiled below are pictures of me and my weekend of retardedness.
