I'm going to New Jersey this weekend with the animal rescue. I used to look forward to my trips back home, but now I just kind of loathe them. The drive is long and I'm not up there long enough to really rest or enjoy myself.
Oh well. Perhaps I'll have some disco fries and bagels while I'm there. One can not procure even a decent bagel down here, let alone a good one. And you can forget about the disco fries! Of course, there is a 'diner' by the NC Music Factory that claims to have them, but they fall short of expectations. One, they use cheddar cheese, not mozzarella like you're supposed to. Two, they don't use the right kind of fries. They use that shoe string sort of fry. And three, they just don't get the gravy right. I'm sure they merely 'tweaked' the recipe as people here don't seem to use mozzarella cheese for anything other than pizza, but they lose an immense amount of points in doing so.
Anyway, enough about disco fries.
The other day Adam and I went to the park. Shenanigans were had.
I like to climb trees, but like the proverbial kitten I often times need help getting down. Don't worry, no one had to call the fire department, though Adam did have to assist me when it was time to come down. Note, I am smiling in that picture @fghtnfire1919.
I took those pictures with Adams iphone. The camera is so much than the one on my phone.
(First world problem, I know.)
That's Adam and I being incredibly silly. I know that in most of the pictures I post here I look rather serious and stoic. I thought this one could be a nice change of pace.
Sometimes, I think of incredibly random things. The other day I thought of two titles that I could possibly use for an autobiography (not that anyone would want to read about my life, but anyway...)
-'Cum Stains Don't Come out of Black Sheets'
and
-'I Wanted a Lobotomy but They Gave Me Prozac Instead'
Also, I just realized that the word 'Prozac' is recognized by spell check. What a world we live in!!
