I have to perform today at the studio. It's a piece from A Richard Price novel called Samaritan. I like doing monologues from novels, too many of these actor humps pick these worn-out mono's that just make you roll your eyes. I like to keep it fresh and original, because of an inherant need to be fresh and original. Sometimes I am a total fucking bore though. A bit nervous. I am heading in to NYC in a couple of hours.

I feel very full, I ate too much. Disgusting. Performance went okay, some talents in the class for a change.

and when I am writing music I feel a need to be fresh and orginal, but then I realize there is no such thing as fresh and original anymore...
and when I was taking acting in high school we were only allowed to do monologues from plays....
