In August of 04 I was meeting a friend for dinner in Capitol Hill. I was a few minutes early so I decided to browse a local bookstore. I eventually noticed this book being displayed by the window. On the cover was a brunette, hair in pigtails, holding her breasts and looking very alluring, as if she was trying to seduce. The title was kind of odd given the subject matter but it definitely got my attention. I looked over the pages, looking through photographs of pin up girls all with the common variety of body modifications one will find on the hordes of urban street dwellers. I have to admit, these women were pretty sexy, a nice change from the Barbie doll clone look we usually see. The names were pretty cute too, Quinne, Tegan, Shera, Alexis, each with their own little theme and self expression. But I remember seeing this one picture and it caught my attention instantly. The girl was lying on her side, cover her breast with a solid red background. I thought how lovely is this girl.


The picture got me a little excited, heart jumping a little as I put the book down. No need to pop a massive boner in a bookshop right before dinner right? I read on the back that I could see more of these girls at a website. Later that night, I went online and decided to give it a shot. Ive never belonged to a porn site before. It took me a week to realize that people actually talk to each other on this website. I was amazed at the amount of girls getting naked on this site. This was when there was about 400 SGs. One of the first sets I looked at was Polkadot. Its my favorite set and still can make me blush and get all hot and bothered. I still remember being sort of nervous when I commented on Lenores set saying how beautiful she was. She was my first comment ever on this site. Her sets have humor, personality and creativity. She is cut above the other models.
Now I know this sounds like I have a major crush on Lenore(guilty) but there is a point to this story. Sometimes I dont enjoy this site. I feel disconnected. Like everyone is in on joke but me. Now, no one is responsible for this, its just the way I get sometimes. But when I get sort of bummed by this site, I remember the time when I saw that picture in the bookstore and how fun it was making new connections online. SG is a surreal experience to say the least. I think Ive seen just about everyone on my friends list naked. A few of you have seen me naked and I dont even know some of your first names. As much as I enjoy the community, I want to know who you are, what you do when your not online. Am I overreaching my bounds? Im also writing this because I may leave in the future and really want to stay in touch. Some of you Ive never met yet with only a few words, youve helped me through some difficult times. I hope to thank you some day in person. OK, done ranting and raving. Im going to be 29 soon and I want to live my last year in my twenties with the ambition I lacked for the first 9 years of it.
