So my cousin Margaret, her husband, and their baby got here on Thursday. And my brother came down for a visit over the weekend.
Visiting with the family is always nice, but it's starting to bug me that we never *do* anything. I'd like to play Scrabble, or watch a movie, or go to Six Flags or a park or something. But we just go out to eat, then sit around somebody's house and chat for a while. Maybe I'm a little immature, but I get bored.
We went to Panera yesterday, and there was a very cute girl behind the counter. She smiled at me and seemed to flirt a little. I was pretty nervous, since I never know what to say or do when I meet someone, especially someone that I like. After eating, I went back to the counter to get some bagels to take home, and I asked her if she'd like to go out. And she said she had a boyfriend.
Why are all the cute, friendly, interesting girls already taken? Stupid question, I know.
