ha, i just wrote a big paragraph complaining about a load of stuff, then admitting that the Dirty Three's curating of next year's ATP festival really makes up for it, and i finished with a YouTube vid of the band themselves being excellent on Aussie TV like 10 years ago, but then i deleted it all by accident. anyway, here's the vid:

The painting has been the pain in my neck for the past week. I will probably finish it up tomorrow, though. Though it's not as good as it should have been, because I stumbled at one point and made a boo-boo frown biggrin Hopefully the weather will be good enough for me to photograph it tomorrow as well.

I got to that 'Ys' link you sent me too late and it was unavailable, so, no, I haven't heard it yet. Sooner or later.

Great Tom interview - thanks! Tom's only a few years younger than my dad. Really puts the masculine side of my parentage into perspective.
