The Soul Searcher

What developed in your mind was born into your soul.
What stares into your eyes will break and make you whole.
You search and seek to find the purpose in your life
which pounces in the dark and stabds you like a knife.
Dreams of flying far and bold, touching wings that turn to gold.
A peircing heart, a blink of an eye, life, love. and wisdom dies.

I wrote this when I was 12. Hehe, just a sign of the age old wisdom
that permeates us all.

I got an award for this one, who knew, such a simple poem.
