Don’t wish to offend, but Man Ray was a pioneering genius. His photographic skills are often imitated still today. The mind is set free while observing his works, and may choose to focus simply upon the eroticism, but a greater appreciation is achieved by allowing ones self to admire the geometric perfection of the female figure.

Not diminishing Man Rays importance or the compelling nature of his work in general just informing on the little known and creating real/broad understandings. In many ways, he was a tortured soul capable of mad cruelty.
