updated to add: refresh your browser for a new profile pic. yes, that's me. the ultimate die-hard yankee fan with a boston red sox hat on. why, do you ask? because i made a wager with Franchise(who is, of course, a red sox fan). the wager was, if the yankees won the ALCS, he had to wear a yankees hat in his profile pic for a month and vice versa for me. well, there it is. i had to go out and spend my hard-earned money on a fucking red sox hat. that is the first red sox hat that has ever been on my head.....i hope i don't get a rash.
savor the flavor kids....you'll never see that sight again after the month is up.
-besides the death of thurman munson, this is the worst day in all my years of being a yankee fan. to lose in game 7 is one thing. to lose in game 7 when you were up 3 games to none is another. but to have to sit there and watch the red sox celebrate on yankee ground was just nauseating. what can i say? the yankees choked and the red sox came to win. from game 4 on, the red sox were the ones who looked calm at the plate....they acted is if they had the 3 game lead.
-i don't know if i can bring myself to root for the sox in the world series though. we'll have to let my wounds partially heal before i decided that.
-today i have to buy a red sox hat and wear it in my profile picture for a month because i lost a bet with Franchise...that's gonna suck.
-oh well, steinbrenner will just increase the payroll by another 100 million over the off-season and try again next year. we know he wants beltran, soriano, and delgado but i seriously hope he looks at this pitching staff and realizes that's what we need first.
-well, sox fans. congratulations..your boys played to win and win they did. i'm sure they'll bring that same fire to the world series. good luck with it. make the AL proud.
enjoy it, boston...it's well deserved.
now if you'll excuse me...where did i put that noose?

regardless of loyalties, that was some baseball. Couldn't ask for a better series. We all watched HISTORY.
