-go go gadget update. it's time for what's become the "weekly update", kids.
-so, i called my english professor a nazi the other day. i don't think that this will reflect well on my final grade. this really sucks. i've been going to school for 3 semesters now and i've managed to retain a 4.0 GPA. now it's all gonna be lost because of my hatred for this one professor. this 4.0 GPA thing is a big thing to me. i've always been a pretty smart kid but it's not like i'm one of those kids who've been a good student their whole lives and what not. the first 1 and a half years of my high school career were spent being a jock...both baseball and football. but somewhere in the middle of my sophomore year i started playing guitar and started drinking and doing drugs. i spent the rest of my HS days drugging, fighting, drinking, and skipping school and classes. i had to stay back my senior year because i skipped 60something days. i got myself thrown out of 2 schools. i had saturday detention for a full year my sophomore year. through all this i never failed a class but i still never got A's, of course. the teachers always told my parents, "Larry's got great potential...if only he'd apply himself". but i just didn't care...i was gonna be a rock star, what the fuck did i need school for? so to make a long story short, after graduation i put all my efforts into music and it got me pretty far. some of you know my old band...they're pretty popular now, but i quit before they became that popular..oh well. ten years later i decided i'd better give the whole school thing a real chance if i want to make something of myself, and here we are... lament for the death of my 4.0 GPA.
-thanks for listening to that rant...i feel better now.
-the new stephen king book is great so far.
-listening to: sheer terror - "just can't hate enough"
UPDATE
------------------------------
-i just found out that a good friend of mine got arrested last night for possession of heroin with intent to sell within 1,500 feet of a school. $100,000 bond. doesn't sound too good.
